Will my order arrive in time for Christmas?

Christmas 2025: Order by Wednesday 17 December for New Zealand-wide delivery before Christmas. Alternatively, order via Click & Collect until Monday 22 December at 5pm for collection by Wednesday 24 December at 5pm.

NZ Couriers are very busy during the Christmas period, and while we will do our best to get your packages delivered on time, the earlier you order the better! Orders are usually processed and shipped within three business days of being placed. Processing times are subject to product availability, and we will advise you by email if there is an expected delay.

When will my order be shipped?

Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays. Orders are usually processed and shipped within three business days of being placed. Processing times are subject to product availability, and we will advise you by email if there is an expected delay. Delivery is available to physical addresses only, not available to send to PO Boxes or Private Bag addresses. 

Where can orders be delivered?

Orders can be shipped all over New Zealand. Currently, we only ship within New Zealand. Delivery is available to physical addresses only; we can't deliver to PO Boxes or Private Bag addresses.

How much are shipping fees?

  • Orders over $100 will receive free shipping.
  • A $10 flat rate shipping fee applies to all New Zealand deliveries, excluding rural deliveries.
  • Rural deliveries will incur an additional fee of $7.

How long will it take for my parcel to arrive?

  • For orders within the North Island, please allow 5-7 business days for delivery.
  • For orders delivering to rural addresses and the South Island, please allow an extra 1-2 business day for delivery.
  • Delivery of orders placed around public holidays times may take longer than the target delivery times set out above, especially during the lead up to Christmas. 

Can I track my parcel?

Yes! Once your online order has been collected by NZ Couriers, we will issue you with a tracking number so you can monitor your parcel's journey. Track your parcel here.  or you can check here. 

Can I pick up my order using Click & Collect? 

Yes! Simply choose the Click & Collect postage option at checkout.

  • Please collect your order within seven days. If you need more time, please contact us at shop@wellingtonzoo.com. 
  • You will need to present photo ID to collect your items, like a New Zealand driver’s licence, Passport, or 18+ card. 
  • Someone else can collect on your behalf if they have the order confirmation and a photo ID.
