Colouring in Aotearoa

Kiwi Colour Kits entrepreneurs: Hutt Valley High School Senior Students.  These three students received the go-ahead from young enterprise scheme judges for their idea to draw on local expertise to create unique colouring books and crayons on the theme of a systainable future for New Zealandrrs.  The kits use sustainably-producced papers and crayons made from beewax and natural pigments.  Kiwi Colour kits works with Wellington Zoo, Staglands and Zealandia and a local designer to select photos of Aoteroas birds, insects and animals to convert to line drawings for youg children to colour.  The kit is intended to introduct children to NZ's unusual and often threatened wildlife and to the both edcational and fun.
